Back from Ecuador

Tuesday, 17 July

A little — or actually, a lot — woozy from being on our feet for nearly 36 hours with just an hour or two of shut-eye on the airplane in the wee hours of this morning, we’re back from our fantastic trip to Ecuador’s mainland and the Galápagos Islands.

I have thousands of pictures to cull through!  Always a sign of a good trip.  No worries; I won’t wait until after I’ve gone through all of them to start posting about our adventure on our Two to Travel blog :-)  However, real work — as in that thing that pays for our adventures — is a different matter and may delay the posts for a bit.

In the meantime, click here to take a 64-second cruise on Celebrity Xpedition’s B Itinerary.

P.S.  I’m sure there’ll be a Phaeton Journey or two in the near future to post about on this blog as well :-)

Out Adventuring for a While

Monday, 2 July

We’re off on one of our non-Phaeton adventures tomorrow, so this blog will be going on hiatus for a while.

Where are we going?  As some have guessed from the hint posted in our Two to Travel blog, we’re off to Ecuador — and more specifically, to the Galápagos Islands.  If you’d like to read more about our plans, hop on over to the T2T blog where we recount our travels sans the Phaeton.  You’ll find the initial post here.

One of the species we hope to see is the Blue-Footed Boobie …
not to be confused with the blue tootsies!

See you in mid-July!
