Picking Up Judy’s Gauntlet

Sunday, 4 March

In a recent post, Judy (of Travels with Emma) modeled one of her ‘ensembles’ and double dog dared the ladies reading her blog to participate in an ‘ensemble parade’.

My friend in Texas (MBZ) and I are picking up the gauntlet and issuing the same challenge.  Between us we’ve got the North and the South covered ;-)

The flannel house pants are from the US; but the socks are from Churchill, Canada.

You’ll agree that MBZ’s ensemble has more flair … it really suits her colorful and fun-loving personality.

Don’t miss the “I shot the Sheriff” earrings :-)

So ladies — or gents, for that matter — who’s going to be next in the parade?

  2. Love those polar bear pants. I didn't see those sox in Churchill.

Even loungewear in Texas has a cowboy hat. And that's a real beauty!

  6. You ladies are gonna have to really work a lot harder at being casually outrageous! You are obviously way too coordinated. You both look great, in your cool casualness!

  7. Anonymous is my Sis; her comment translates as: "Two outfits from the 2012 fall-winter season."

  8. How great is this hat? A 35th wedding anniversary gift from Doc (who-wishes-he-was-still-on) Holliday. Like it so much, would sleep in the dang thing if it didn't knock the lamp off the endtable.
Texans all go a little loco this time of year with trail-riding and Livestock-Showing and what-not.

Honored and tickled to make a guest appearance over here at E-Town! Thanks little Missy E. and Doc for throwing it together while I made pizzas.
p.s. Tell A we are all matchy-matchy by accident. Tres chic, with no "Vogue" involved. ;))
p.p.s. We need a West Coast ensemble...oh Sue...??

  10. Loved that blue color on your polar bear pants. Somehow it is just perfect that you have polar bear pants, Erin, you have taken the best polar bear pictures I ever saw. I suppose I'll have to get a photo of me and jammies eventually, but I have avoided that so far.
