Gulf Waters RV Resort — Port Aransas, TeXas
… actually, pad owners would be more accurate!
We’ve been pondering the purchase of a pad since arriving in Port Aransas in late December for a multi-month stay at Gulf Waters RV Resort. Finally, when the right pad came up at the right price, we stopped pussyfooting around and bought Site 408.
Photos of the site coming up next — have to carve out some time from chores to process the pics first!
Welcome to the RV lot owners club! Can't wait to see your photos! Maybe we could swap sites some time!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! And to think we knew you way back when you were "homeless"! "cD
ReplyDeleteWOW! So many people buying lots all over the place. Congratulations!!
ReplyDeleteGreat! So happy you found what you're looking for. How much longer will you be in Texas? We've been so busy, we haven't had a chance to make it back down there. Can we take a rain check for next winter?
ReplyDeleteI bet the lot is a beauty! Congrats!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your new purchase. Looking forward to seeing the photos.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Erin and Mui! I must say we were really surprised to read this since you just started to explore the country. You haven't gotten west yet...it is REALLY beautiful in AZ and Utah:)
ReplyDeleteOh no worries about that ... we'll be getting west ;-))
Deletecongrats on your new 'home base'! can't wait to see the photos!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your new pad!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see the photos of your new lot.
ReplyDeleteWow, this does come as a shocker. Didn't know you guys were looking to "sit" in any one place for awhile, but if it's what you want then I say go for it. Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! Now you're real Texans for sure!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, made me laugh, seems to happen to a lot of us there. See you next winter there.
ReplyDeleteCongrats Texans...
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on becoming a Texas landowner!! We spent July 4 weekend there two years ago with our grandkids, and it is really a nice resort. Hope you continue to enjoy the area.

S&K commenting that you two gypsies are going to "sit" cracked me up.
ReplyDeleteThey ain't sitting nowhere for very long y'all! The Traveling E's just wanted a cozy safe haven and a place to call home-base.
(And sshhhhhh.... Don't tell them I told ya'... They had a secret hankering to be "Real" Texans :)
Does this mean that Erin will be getting good at eating bbq from butcher paper, MBZ? :)
DeleteI don't know ... me and BBQ don't always agree ;-)
DeleteYou know, as the RV world gets more and more crowded, it gets a bit harder to find a place to "be" in safety and comfort. I have often thought that owning a place to park is a very smart way to go for almost full timers. Very smart move. Places like this are hard to come by and will always be in demand. And yes, I laughed with the Z's about that "sit" comment. If there are two people who rarely sit for long, it is you two. You are my world traveling mentors!
