Truth be told, we didn’t really spend much time in Denver proper … except to check out some condo options to see if the city would be a consideration for future settlement.  Though we have not written off Denver categorically, the properties we saw didn't really meet our “wish-list.”  So for now, at least, we’re scratching the city off the list.

What else did we do during the time we were based at Cherry Creek SP?  We did have some fun times … with Denver-based friends and family.

We have changed states again.  I had two days planned for the drive … but we ended up with an extra half-day because of a slight miscalculation on our part … ooops.

Catching Up … Our Utah Goings On

I’m not going to say that time has run away from me, because you all already know that it has ;-)  So … let’s just catch up on all that Mui and I’ve been up to since we arrived at Hill Air Force Base on June 21.

By the way, every sign and document I’ve come across still refers to J[oint] B[ase] Hill as Hill AFB … I’ll follow suit.

Driving Days … From Washington to Utah via Oregon and Idaho

Four days of driving … three one-night stands in campgrounds.  That’s what it took to get us to  Utah.

More specifically, we are at the famcamp at Joint Base Hill … still referred to by most people as Hill Air Force Base … just as it was back in the 1980s when Mui was stationed here for a couple of years.
