Wrapping Up Another Stay at BRRP

Monday, 9 April

After a day of tele-working from BRRP we’re back at the stix & brix home.

We had a quiet day at the campground.  Around 11:00a, a stream of campers passed by our site, ending their weekend stay and heading to destinations unknown — for the most part.  One class C was being towed out so we know they were headed for a repair shop somewhere; hope their problems aren’t too serious.  Couldn’t help but give thanks to the RV gods that we were able to resolve Friday’s leveler debacle with a simple ‘amputation’.  Otherwise, it could have been us being towed out of BRRP today.

Didn’t really do much more than work on company projects, but the workload was relatively light.  We managed to sneak out for a mid-morning campground walk.  It was breezy and cool, but with plenty of sunshine to keep us comfortable.  We even managed to have a picnic lunch, which we always prefer to eating inside.

Two laptops and a large external monitor … all to get my work done.

A simple al fresco meal is the highlight of our last day of camping at brrp.

We started packing up the coach when my workday ended at 3:00p.  Next, a quick stop to put the baby to sleep in storage — but not for long.  Next weekend, we head out on our annual spring outing.  Where?  Well, you’ll have to come back to find out :-)

  2. Love seeing those pictures of you. Pretty fine "office" you have there with nice views. Wish I had a paying job I could take on the road and do from anywhere. Lucky you!

    1. Having the tele-work set up in place, I'd be more inclined to add to the coffers with an occasional paying project once we're on the road, but I wouldn't want to be working on a regular basis :-)

  3. Great photo of you two. Remember..."All work and no play makes Mui a sad boy." Glad you are enjoying yourself. I would hate to see a frown on your face. ~wheresweaver

  6. I "worked" from the motorhome for over a year on consulting projects and found it mostly enjoyable. I would have kept doing it except for those pesky expectations that I would show up on site once in awhile:)
