I woke up around 4:00a, and after tossing and turning to no avail, I got up. I’m an early riser anyway, but this was ridiculous. Oh well; gave me a chance to catch up on some reading.
When I went up to my home office around 6:30a, I caught a glimpse of a rainbow of color through the slats of the plantation shutters — a beautiful sunrise was in progress. The camera was handy, so click went the shutter.
Nice color foretells the forecasted temperature warm-up.
I love a beautiful sunrise too and will drag my self out of bed to watch one... especially over the ocean.
ReplyDeleteWow! That was sure worth getting up early for.
ReplyDeletegood morning Erin!
ReplyDeleteI have those days too when I know I haven't had enough sleep but just am too awake. You sure had something spectacular to get up for. Thanks for sharing it!

ReplyDeleteAnother great sunrise. I have lots and lots of sunset pictures, but my collection of sunrise pics is a lot smaller. I wonder why:)
ReplyDeleteWow! Absolutely stunning. I rarely can get myself up so early. Thanks for doing it for me :)
ReplyDeleteNow that's a GOOD morning!
ReplyDeleteStunning full spectrum!
ReplyDeleteIsn't light grand?
Up since 1:30am. Foggy, foggy here.
Did someone call an Insomnia Club meeting?
I missed the memo.
Gorgeous sunrise. I woke up at 4am as well, Pacific time, but it was cold and foggy since we are now at the ocean, so I knitted until daylight. This early rising thing has to go!
ReplyDeleteGrab those special moments. I hope to never see another one now that I'm retired. Getting up at the crack of noon is working well for me.
