This was one of the very first projects I stitched after we moved to the US in 1981. It came as a kit that included light-blue aida cloth as well as the floss.
I consider this project to be the genesis of our plans to someday explore the country in a motor home. Well, we bought the motor home in 2010. Now we just have to retire and get on the road to fulfill our dream.
Here’s Patchwork USA …
By the way, this one has not one single mistake or adjustment to the pattern. Nada ... zip ... zero.
no errors or fixes!..now that is impressive!!!..good for you, Erin!!!..I know how hard that is so you should be proud of yourself!!!..the beautiful USA..perfect!
ReplyDeleteA wonderful, masterful, beautiful job. You are so good! Very nice work, thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteAnd, a very Happy Valentine's Day to the two of you.
That's really cool! And I like the title...America really is a patchwork of different geography, people, and cultures. Beautifl.
ReplyDeleteI love this pattern! Wish I could find it. You did a great job on it. If you still have that pattern, I would be interested in stitching it for my trailer! This makes me want to get back to my stitching.
ReplyDeleteBecky, thanks for the comment ... your email says no reply, so hopefully you'll come back to see that I have responded. Unfortunately, I stitched this piece such a long time ago that I don't have the pattern anymore; sorry.
DeleteOh, sorry! I need to find out a way to change that! Thanks for your reply! I am enjoying all of your blog.
